AdeKwit

Bio

Jae Davis, aka AdeKwit, was born in Miami Florida in the heart of the hood. He had an obsession with music from a young age and was bumpin real Hip Hop since Middle School. Writing poetry has always been his other passion in life and in only Grade 8 he was writing incredibly profound and existential material about his life and the universe that housed it. By the age of 11 or 12 he began to combine his two passions and started putting his poetry to beats. Davis had a talent that was apparent to all those around him even if his material would challenge their mental starch mentality about religion and politics.

Davis has suffered from depression throughout his life and his poetry and music has acted not only as a form of creative expression but also as a means of catharsis. His music expresses his personal struggles and deals with issues like atheism, politics, growing up in the hood and conquering the demons which have often lead him towards self-destruction. However his creativity not only serves as a form of self-healing but it also acts as a powerful tool of education for others.

Davis, now known by his emcee name AdeKwit, has been a long time AIM
member and is now part of the collective Grand Unified Theory run by fellow AIM member Greydon Square. Through The Anti-Injustice Movement AdeKwit endeavours to utilize his music to combat injustice, fight for equality and raise awareness about the dangers of religious fundamentalism. Furthermore through Grand Unified Theory he will use his music to raise people's consciousness about the importance of science and rational thinking. AdeKwit is a dedicated atheist and this comes across potently in his music. However like many other members of The Anti-Injustice Movement his AIM is to raise awareness about the dangers of fundamentalist religion but without persecuting liberal theists. Nevertheless his music demands that we should all question everything.

AdeKwit is working on his first mixtape 'The A.L.B.U.M.' and will soon be contributing to the second album by The AIM Raptivist Collective 'Lyrical Warfare Volume 2'. This up and coming emcee may be a new contender in the world of underground hip hop but there is no doubt that his lyricism, flow and music packs one hell of a punch. He is certainly destined to be a Hip Hop heavyweight.

Lyrics

Piece of Rhyme

Where in the hell can I go to find piece of rhyme?
To give my mind some peace.
So I can spit it how I live and every beats defined.
To shed reality.

Where do I go?
Turn on the radio and all I hear is self indulgence
And people talking nonsense
I’m wondering where is all the substance
A place where money, clothes and cars are not the only options of topics for you
to discuss, just to make a profit.
While gas prices are rising
Homes are foreclosing.
Religious fanatics trying to stop your right to an abortion
Our troops still overseas
And we just murdered Bin Laden
Plus we’re arrogant if we think that’s the end of all our problems
It’s 2011 and people are still homophobic
Claiming it’s contagious to children
That’s absolutely bogus
And everybody’s a “Real Nigga”
I just ignore it
Plus “M.O.B. and Get Money”
Cliché rhetoric’s
I’m not downing anybody I just don’t endorse it
Struggling to make it to the top like a broken forklift
Trying hard to find the picture like a lost portrait
I’ll keep fighting to reach my goals
And never forfeit
I slept through the rapture that was miscalculated
What would you expect from a book that’s outdated?
Camping say’s October 21st would be the worst day
That’s pretty ironic
Because that’s my fucking birthday
So I’ll be drinking and chilling while you wait on an earthquake
Even advanced technology can’t predict when the Earth shakes
So be stupid and follow prophets that’s horrible at adding
And I think it’s actually sad people want this to happen
That’s why I want to find Piece of Rhyme
No limits in rapping
Display pictures with words
Exploiting my passion
Hope my music touches your heart
And reaches the masses
With rhymes that make your body rock
I call it lyrical action.

Taking AIM Against Human Trafficking!

As you may have heard we are offering support to another international campaign called Anti-Slavery International. This is because one of the key issues The AIM will be tackling in the long term is human trafficking and modern day slavery whether that be sexual, domestic, agricultural or otherwise. This is a crucial issue and is close to the hearts of various AIM members. Despite what they told you slavery is alive and well in various forms all across the globe. We want to combat it on an international, national and local level because abolishing human trafficking and modern day slaveryit is central in the struggle for human rights.

New York East Coast AIM General, activist and political emcee SAI works on the frontlines combatting human trafficking and slavery. Thus he has released this new track, One Day in June, to mark the genesis of our determined effort to enable modern day slaves to liberate themselves from the shackles of their oppressors. He tackles two very real but different cases, both in relation to child trafficking in order to expose the harsh reality of the sexual and domestic exploitation of children. AIM President and vitriolic Street Poet AK47 has also added a another very personal and raw poem about her experience of being forced into prostitution as a young teenager to her Street Poetry profile page. This is to bring attention to the brutal reality of the sexual exploitation of young girls through forced prostitution which is often a result of human trafficking. Her brave and brutal poem is available here and it will hopefully encourage you to join the fight against modern day slavery.

When you're done with that, please visit http://www.flsny.org/ and tell your friends and family about the difficult work that Farmworker Legal Services is doing in the State of New York. They are fighting for the rights of farmworkers as well as low wage workers and they need your support. If you can make a donation to FLSNY, please do so because every penny counts.

" The nobility of our calling will always be rooted in two commitments difficult to observe: refusal to lie about what we know, and resistance to oppression."

BLR / AIM - 7/7 Acapella (I Want Justice)

Shalom! When the Anti Injustice Movement hosted the Capital X & Jehuniko "I Want Justice Tour" in October, we stayed at a hotel in Tavistock place... just around the corner from Tavistock Square, the site of the bus bombing on 7/7. On the morning of our London show a few of us set out to film some footage at a few of the locations of the bombings on 7/7... here is a take from Russell Square tube station.

Brent Lee Regan performs a verse from Bin Laden 7/7 off his False Flags & Patsies EP outside Russell Square. This video is dedicated to all of the victims and families affected by the tragedy of July 7th, 2005 and to the family and friends of Jean Charles de Menezes.

More info @ http://www.JulySeventh.co.uk - http://www.Justice4Jean.org

Brent Lee Regan is a Frontline Raptivist from The Anti Injustice Movement, a member of Guerilla Republik UK and also runs Truth Music Directory

To kick off today's update I want to welcome two new members to The AIM, hard spitting MC Therapist who's going to front for The AIM in Philly and renowned Street Poet, Musician and Gang Outreach Worker Warrior Bonds from Boston. We met Therapist through two of our core members AIM General Raptivist Capital-'X' and anti-NWO emcee Enki, and we were introduced to Warrior through notorious Street Poet and AIM Shot Caller Monte Smith. Bump or Buy The AIM's Revolutionary Raptivism!

X Has AIM
AIM General Capital-'X' Reppin The AIM Revolution

If you are into Street Poetry, Anarchist/Political Hip-Hop and real revolutionary lyricism please check out our political/revolutionary emcees and street poets from
The Anti-Injustice Movement (aka The AIM) on our new AIM Raptivist Collective profile on Reverbnation. We just dropped a sick new underground Hip-Hop album, Lyrical Warfare Volume 1, which is a lyrical IED being hurled at the NWO global elites, the theocrats and the growing police state which is sweeping the entire planet.

The AIM's Ecuadorian Rebel, emcee SAI, has also donated his track 'Real Gangsta' as a paid download to help fund our organization. The track hits out at fake thugs who have their identity bastardized by white washed corporate cRap music and celebrates the real revolutionaries who deserve the title 'gangsta.' If you got love for Che Guevara more than Lil Weiner then you're going to want to download this track fo real.

We have to sell this mixtape, and our
slick new t-shirts, as we are a non-profit group. We just need to make enough green for our Protest/Hip-Hop/Street Poetry/Activism Education Conference in the UK for early next year. Please buy our album Lyrical Warfare Vol 1, or even just a few tracks, at the Reverbnation Store, ITunes, Amazon, Napster or CD Baby. If you're flat broke like us just lay back, pop a can of organic root beer and bump the rhymes of the revolution. ;)

In Revolution & Resistance,

Warrior

BIO

Michael Bonds, the Warrior G.R.I.O.T. (Ghetto Representative Interpreting Our Thoughts) is an internationally respected Author, Poet, Street Griot, Educator, People Mover (Motivator), Youth Street Worker and AIM Soldier from the roughest Hood in Boston Massachusetts, the notorious Roxbury. The "Bury" is the same cocoon that spawned the likes of the late legendary G.U.R.U (Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal) of Gang Starr and Ed O.G. & The Bull Dogs (Roxbury 02119) "I'm from the Bury the Bury but not the fruit y'all/don't make me act like where I come from cause it's brutal". The Bury also gave birth to revolutionaries as well like; the Minister Louis Farrakhan who was born and raised here and ironically shares the the same birthday as the Warrior ( May 11th), and of course the fearless brother Malcolm X who not only hustled in these streets, he went to prison and was eventually awakened and educated in Roxbury. This is the atmosphere and the energy that created the Warriors passion, his commitment and the power in his poetry.

The Warrior has performed in shows and venues, universities etc with the likes of:

Baba Askia Toure, co-founder of the Black Arts Movement
Danny Simmons, co-founder and Chairman of Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation
Gospel great Mrs. Tramaine Hawkins, (the Berklee Performance Center, Boston)
Bruce George, co-founder of Def Poetry
Chico Debarge, singer, song writer
Dr. Bobby Jones (Urban Impact Summit)
Dead Prez, Saul Williams, (Harvard University)
Kurtis Blow and Whoodini (Russell Auditorium, Boston) just to name a few.

Whats Love Got To Do With This?
She and her daughters are suffering
Petty health services and weak government policies have condemned their ovaries
Doomed their wombs to fail for an eternity
All for the sake of a juvenile attempt at parenting she and her daughters are suffering
Her name is Kenya
Her pain has a weird name
Obstetric fistula
But she cannot call a Dr.
911 is even less of a joke than the Flavor of Love was a reality show
She is running on empty promises
Climbing a stairway to heaven knows where
Unable to control her bowls
She is leaking urine
Literally pissing her life away
While the Kenyan governmental health policies piss in her face but tell her it is just rain
She has no umbrella
So her face is soaked with tears
Her poverty is violent
Her misery is shameful
Her fetus is unsustainable
And she is suffering
But still dignified
So what’s love got to do with this?
Obviously nothing if this means nothing to you

Hot summers and cold fire hydrants
Blacksploited until we loved ourselves to sleep
We woke up rioting

Tithes pay for the sins of the "Baby Daddies"
Curtis Mayfield, Gwendolyn Brooks, and Nina Simone choired us

If The Truth Be Told
If truth be told you would know about Royal Dutch Shell
The European/American capitalist
The body parts, the fluids, the poverty
The commerce mixing well for commercial exploitationists
You would know about the murder, the bribery, the intimidation
All of this is fodder for contamination

If truth be told each fill up at the gas pump would have the sublime taste of hot chocolate Carbon Dioxide, a tall glass of Sulfur Gas at bedtime
Lullabies but no good nights under chemical clouds
British pounds for pounds knocking out heavy weight Ogoni fighters like:
Kene Saro-Wiawa, Saturday Doobee, Baribor Bera,
Felix Nuate, John Kpuinen, Paul Levura, Daniel Gbokoo, Nordu Eawo

If truth be told you would have been fully aware of the government sponsored imprisonment,
The torture, the lynching
The executions and the Emphysema and the Lung Disease and/or the likes there of

If truth be told somebody should have blown the lid off this long before…
That lid was blown off!
If truth be told
If truth be told you would have known about THEY
THEY who have never ever taste a cigarette but express symptoms that mimic a 5 pack a day nicotine addiction
THEY who are but eleven years old and younger
Happy Birth Defect Day… everyday

If truth be told you’d Google the Nigerian infant mortality rate prior to 1995 because honestly, I refuse to drop these published statistics in this poem

If truth be told you wouldn’t have to feast on this crude for thought
Drink this chemical toast to capitalism
My stomach turns each time…
each time I spit up this Royal Dutch Shell Fish & Chip$ dinner
This is poetic injustice at its finest
Placentas giving birth to Chronic Asthmatics
Now, bow your heads and look away, look away, look away to Ogoni Land
Nigerian lives in absentia

If truth be told you would have known long ago about a woman named Condeliza
A childhood friend of four little girls exploded in an Alabama church named Condeliza
A powerful African American woman at the helm of Royal Dutch Shell named Condeliza
The largest oil tanker in the Royal Dutch Shell fleet named the Condeliza
The highly classified, non public, very discrete erasure of Codeliza’s name from the ship when she was selected as part of the Bush administrations ultimate oil regime

The truth is, none of this is non fiction
This is a story of Petroleum Patriots and Methane Minute Men, Sulfur Sergeants, and Toxic Terrorists
Sublimely I stumble over pipelines at ground level leaking, spewing contamination
Polluting the ground water below the surface of Mother Earth
Native Ogoni people black past the Melanin born in them
Black past Nigerian nights
Black past their Black past because the oil on their hands makes them black past their Nigerian skin

The truth is MOSOP Ogoni, MOSOP Ogoni, MOSOP Ogoni…
The truth is, Ogoni women lead the voices that refused BIG Oils come back to Ogoni Nigeria

The truth is Royal Dutch Shell was lead by Condeliza Rice at this time
the truth is SHE was:
Unwilling to clean up the mess SHe made
Unwilling to pick up the pipes SHE laid
Unwilling to correct the mistakes SHE made
Unable to reattach the limbs SHE maimed
Unwilling to pay
Unwilling to replenish the resources SHE drained
Unwilling/unable to apologize or fix the lives SHE changed forever

MOSOP Ogoni, MOSOP Ogoni, MOSOP Ogoni

The truth is CNN, FOX, Time Magazine ect., they all knew
They should have blown the cover off this long before the cover was blown off

Now onyx hue fluids flow in the saline waters of the Gulf coast
The same onyx hue of the feet of the Ogoni people
These onyx hue feet still dance in spite of all this…
They dance to Nigerian beats as ancient as times 4 score and as old as the deepest pockets of crude found
This Crude found has spilled more blood than dudes down kill on American city blocks
More than American city cops have gunned down dudes on American city blocks then get acquitted like its business as usual
American and Europeans do business as usual on foreign soil with no regard for life or liberty while in pursuit of happiness…
For themselves and their posterity they do ordain and establish then constitute
Shunning any fork in the road not leading to their united stake in commerce
In the name of commerce they are united when they stake a claim
The indigenous are the enemies of their own state

The truth is MOSOP
The truth is the Ogoni 9
The truth is Ogoni Nigeria is a Royal Dutch “Shell” of its former self

And now you know the truth,
So what are YOU going to do?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Gunz, Poems & Rosez (My Mission)I am on a mission
I got no choice but to except it
The “Hood”, I gotta rep it
Until these Guns
And these Poems I’m holding
Turn to Roses
Lest my chest and crown be filled holy
And thou art placing me in the ground
Seven feet deep with a stone that reads
R.A.P.
That’s a wrap
And I Rest At Peace
Until then
I commit my speech to these streets
Be they no longer a zone for war
I got no choice but to pump these poems raw
Then stand up strong
Until my legs and my throat get soar
Then stand up some more
And you know what?
“I’m still standing
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah”
On the down side looking up at them and theirs
On the outside looking down on me and mine
So what if I pulled out my vision
And remove my thoughts
Wrap them in my dreams
Then tied them with my vocal chords
Then locked them away in a diamond studded box
Then gave it all to them on a platinum platter
You think they’d hear my cry - For me and my – Kind – ly - speak on behalf of those who -
Could they even see my position?
What’s missing is the puzzle
I am the piece left out purposely
And they will never find me
Until they clean out their house
Lift up that comfortable cushion
They sit on at our expense
We rest beneath the bed we made
For them to rest their heads
They slept on me and my kind for a long time-
Coming along a little too late to ever be my friend
To be my darling
You send me to these prisons
At an immoral rate
Reasoning escapes
These ties that bind man kind together
So what god has brought together has been torn
Us-under yourn - be free at last glance
So these ghetto representatives like me
We be the last chance
for those who be Weaving
My sisters be weaving
And my brothers be leaving
Their pants worn down under their waste line
They swing too low to run with Harriet underground
No Mo!
Yi mean?
Besides, their sweet chariots got 24’s
With Homicide doors
I don’t know what you heard
But they got “John’s Doe” and they be coming-
For to carry you gone up off these blocks
With 18 in the Glock
But it only takes one shot to stop these migraines,
Y’all be - my People be my Grain,
Society headaches
From rising in this land of Filth and Money
Nowhere roads paved with souls
But behold
A Tanned Black Alley Cat
Slowly strolls
He throws an awkward southpaw
To the jaw of an Ass-
Holding a gentrified monopoly pass
To my neighbors “Hood”
Making sure we don’t go pass go-
Straight to jail as if:
“We don’t need no education”
It’s no wonder we’re complacent
With the status quo
The cookie doe ain’t rising fast enough
To survive on 9 to 5 pm
My BM (Babies Mama)
She wants:
Thanks Giving, Christmas,
Not mention Birthday presents “Urrr” week
I can’t compete
Let alone keep up with the Jones’s,
The Johnson’s,
The Smith and Wesson’s
It’s virtually impossible
So my mission is clear
I’ve got no choice but to except it
The “Hood”,
I gotta rep it
Until these Guns and these Poems I’m holding
Turn to Roses
Lest my chest and crown be filled holy-
And thou art placing me in the ground
With a stone that reads:
R.A.P
That’s a wrap and I
Rest At Peace

AK47

BIO
Thus Spoke AK47

"I'm a firebrand revolutionary bitch, Che Guevara with perfect tits."
(AK47)

AK47 is a half Scottish half Slovenian obsessive compulsive hardcore hip-hop lovin straight edge atheist who spouts Nietzsche quotes at random intervals. She has a first class honours in Religious Studies and a Masters in Humanities with a research focus on Religious Terrorism. Her Masters thesis was entitled “The Problem with Bloody Religion: A Critical Analysis of the Profound Relationship Between Religion and Violence upon the Theatre of Global Terror” , which advocated a new theory of ‘religious violence’ involving the idea of metaphysical scarcity. She also wrote and directed a play entitled ’Pillowstalk’ for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2000 which was dubbed by one critic as ‘offensive yet intelligent’, a bit like herself at times.

Since then she has worked teaching English to foreign national criminals in a prison, tutoring academic study skills at a university, promoting underground hip-hop and fetish clubs, and busting up fights while working as a Glasgow bouncer. She is currently running an international secular hip-hop/protest poetry activist movement called The Anti-Injustice Movement (The AIM). The AIM is a worldwide movement of activists, political emcees and protest poets who use intelligent and creative non-violent methods to fight global injustice, perpetrated by the government, organized religion, or corporate vampires. They are lyrical protesters who throw words instead of Molotov cocktails. AK47 co-ordinates the movement, promotes the various hip-hop artists involved, and is a firebrand protest poet in her own right. Her poetry cuts as deep as a Columbian necktie.

She has also recently become the UK Chapter leader for revolutionary hip-hop organization/guerrilla apparel clothing brand Guerrilla Republik who are also an AIM affiliate.

AK's 'grandeur of aspiration', in her own words, is to: “ Deprogram the minds of those who have been lulled into sedation by the soothing lies that surround us. ”

POETRY

Dead Inside

My heart feels disdain with the strain of cheap cocaine

My serotonin levels are deficient
I vacuum up the dopemine to straighten out my brain
I take uppers and downers in an ironic attempt to not go insane
Cocaine nights, valium afternoons and lesbian sex make me forget
That everytime these men raped me I was anything but wet
It's all in the past of a baby prostitute they nicknamed Colette.
But let's be realistic I'm just another statistic
And when Necro sings about White Slavery
He bastarizes the bravery of abused 'whores' everywhere
Who get up in the morning when they don't fucking care.
Cos when you've been raped with a broken glass bottle
You're not really there,
You can't unsee the flashbacks behind your hard paranoid stare
But I was one of the few that did survive,
Hard and smart enough to academically thrive
But the sad thing in life is not in dying, It's what dies inside of us when we are alive.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dog Collar Daddy
The trick baby never recovered from that first broken nose,
She became harder than Tyler Durden,
Kept her so called 'friends' at a distance and her enemies real fucking close.
The problem with being in vice is that you end up smoking ice,
And every dirty pervert thinks he can give you his advice,
While he's fucking a pre-pubescent with a motherfucking knife,
Then he puts back on his dog collar and goes home to kiss his wife.
Then he stands upon the pulpit with a hard on in his hand,
Screaming 'sex outside of marriage should be legally banned.'
"Homosexuality is a sin," he proclaims and "Fags should burn in hell!"
While his son's cartoon bedspread is sanctified with daddy's salty smell
"Eve is part of Adam's rib!"
Thus he curses to hell women's lib.
That's why he fucked his daughter when she was only in the crib.
But it's ok,
He said sorry,
And God forgives him?

Women: The Most Haram of All Meat
Faceless drones of black silk shuffle through the street,
They can't show their faces in public places,
Or they'll be raped by Mohammed for not being discreet
The brides of Allah are bled out of identity,
They are the most haram of all meat.
Their lives are slaughtered like swine,
In an abattoir to the divine,
Behind black silken prisons they have ideas and visions,
But if we don't grant them no rights,
They can't make no decisions.
Religion holds the trump card that we need to discard
But in this climate of theocracy this is so fucking hard!
The liberals for liberals sake say that Sharia is about choice,
When oppression is institutionalised people don't use their voice
When submission becomes a sacrament only the masters will rejoice
But there is never no freedom in slavery
Hiding a punch in the face ain't about bravery,
Muslim women are people like you and me,
Thus we are all duty bound to set them free
Never bow down to the will of Allah,
Nor mutter the words 'inshallah',
Be proud to be the dirty kuffar,
Because political Islam you've gone too far!

Once Upon A Crime
The Combat Kid in the video arcade was playing at GI Joe.
Then he opened fire at milk break,
Wasting fourth grade like a pro.
Channel nine asked “ Why d’ya do it son? “
Combat Kid only smirked “ I dunno. “
And Mary Poppins pulls an Uzi from her carpet bag, and gives Jane and Michael ammo.
Little Orphan Annie got adopted,
By a paedophile ring.
“ It’s a hard knock life for us! “ the children sing.
And the pillar of the community laughs.
Please leave the light on, “ the children said.
“ We get bad dreams and we wet the bed. “
But the room is empty, and the lightbulb red.
And the sun won’t come out tomorrow.
Oliver Twist screams at his persecutors “ We Want MORE! “
Alice knows Wonderland is just the mescaline.
And perfect Cinderella is a cock sucking whore,
And the boy that cried wolf was not lying.
But what’s one more little kid crying or dying
“ Your children are not dead. “ the Pied Piper said.
“ They’re just waiting until the world deserves them. “

The Shopping Mall
Are you only half alive?
Do you not know who you are?
Have you bought the dream?
Do you want to be a Superstar?
A hippie mad dog cult leader?
A Bardot bitch in a boudoir?
Mercedez Benz, Versace, ornamental bidet,
Ray Bann, biofoods and a cafe au lait,
Coca-Cola,
Pearl white smiles,
Do you want to be part of a cliche?
The bleach blonde Barbie plastic nympho,
With her 'Cosmo Guide To Feminist Fellatio',
Consumerism,
And the average American psycho.
The Billboard,
Propaganda,
Chewing gum TV,
The Rat Race,
Marketplace,
The Powers That Be,
I’m an anti-social,
In an anti-social society.

Lolita's Lullaby
Dirty bleached blonde baby whores,
Credit card kicks,
Scrape the knife down my arm happiness,
Truth for me is internet murder graphics,
Nihilistic resignation.
The lullaby of comfortable misanthropy that makes it all okay,
In the long run we’re all dead anyway.
How can you push me when I’m already in free fall?
Daily fantasies about wasting those bastards at the local shopping mall.
And it will all have been wasted.
I’m nothing; in the future, in the present, or before.
I’m just a £30 pound a fuck whore.
Nothing less,
Nothing more.
The bruises that you cry for aren’t even sore.
I’m just a piece of abused shit ravaged to the core.
There is no redemption.
And the hatred seeps further than you can ever reach.
I’m the maggot in the putrid peach.
I suck upon the sickness like an overfed leech.
You will never know me,
Because you weren’t ass fucked, gang raped or handled with plastic gloves.
You just watched too much TV,
And you’ll never be me,
And I’m really glad that you will never see that shit that I had to see.
Please don’t look at the the pictures they took of me.
She cowers in the corner,
Alone,
Needs someone to hold her,
Maybe she's worth nothing just like they told her.
