We have reached a critical time in getting HR 5566 passed through to law. As many of you know, Bill HR 5566 was approved in the Senate, then sent back to the House in what should have been a no brainer vote then passed on to the President to sign into Law. The President of the United States has already stated he WILL sign it.
As the days turned to weeks and members repeatedly called and asked their Congress person "whats the hold up?" It became apparent that special interest groups were helping to stall out the Bill.
We have decided then to help the House make the morally correct decision by raising a Crush Video Awareness Week starting Monday, November 15 at 12:00am - November 22 at 12:00am. This is timed to coincide with the Lame Duck Sessions where bills are are to be voted upon. This Bill HR 5566 must not be allowed to stay on the Floor.
Please unite with us in raising awareness by changing out your default pictures to any stopcrush photo you wish to remind our Government that animal cruelty is NOT free speech in the United States of America.
