Lyrical Agent n Little Dread's Super Cypher

AIM UK emcee Lyrical Agent has immense lyrical abilities and his 13 year old little brother Little Dread is no doubt his hip-hop prodigy. It's touching to see these two brothers spittin real lyrical semtex on the same video. We're also so proud to see Lyrical Agent reppin his AIM family to the fullest. We'd love to get both these sick political spitters up on stage sometime this year with other UK hard hitters like the AIM's Brent Lee Regan, and other killer emcees like Knew Eyes, Johnny Handsome, and Plato. Some beatboxing from Bigg Taj and Subsonic wouldn't go a miss.

2011 is going to see The AIM spreading faster than wildfire in the UK, Canada, and on The West and East Coast of Amerikkka. Eventually we want chapters in every country which are cenralized to HQ (so that we never lose our core principles and strong organization). Injustice is global so this movement has to be global but we must approach our agenda locally, nationally and internationally to really make an impact. It also means that our talented hip-hop artists and street poets will have their message spread to the entire world rather than limited to their locality. The time has come for the sheeple to wake up and smell the thermite.

AIM Got Da X-Factor!

Vinnie Paz and Capital-'X'

Since The I Want Justice Tour AIM/Guerrilla Republik raptivist Capital-'X' has been a busy man. First off he had the incredible opportunity of opening for the legendary Vinnie Paz and Jedi Mind Tricks with his Norwegian comrade Sheepy Wonder in Norway. Not only did 'X' and Sheepy baptize the audience into the revolution against the death penalty with their hard hitting track 'Eye 4 N Eye' but they joined Jedi Mind Tricks on stage for the encore. Damn people I'd gorge out my right eye ball to meet Paz and JMT because they are up there on my list of hip-hop hard-hitters. Thus I am mad psyched that one of our artists had the honor of performing with such hardcore hip-hop heroes of mine. More importantly we have to give the big ups to both 'X' and Sheepy for educating the audience about the travesty of justice that is the death penalty. This is a crystal clear example of the way in which AIM raptivists educate the people by using words instead of weapons.





The next bit of AIM Hip-Hop news is massive because it not only involves Capital-'X' but also super sick AIM emcee Perseverance. When we dropped The AIM Raptivist Collective Lyrical Warfare Volume 1 Mixtape we included an ill track by Perseverance and 'X' called 'Business'. The track and the album went down harder than World Trade Centre 7. Now AIM brothers Perseverance and 'X' have released the track as an official music video called 'Businessmen'. Not only is the video fanfuckingtastic but both emcees rep The AIM Clika hard in it which will help raise awareness about our movement and the various artists and causes that we are involved with.

The fucking cherry on the cake is that the video is in a competition on Yo!Raps Magazine and our underground political hardhitters are annihilating the competion who consist of mainstream corporate puppets like Kanye West, 50 Cent and Soulja Boy. Nevertheless we need your help to get them to seal the deal so if you believe in real underground hip-hop as opposed to mainstream corporate wank then please go here and give our boys five stars and leave a positive comment about the video. This will not only raise awareness about these two incredible artists but also about our movement and all the vital campaigns associated with it. It also flips the bird at mainstream white washed corporate candy rap. Let's take hip-hop out of the hands of the oppressors and utilize it as a tool to free the oppressed.



Capital-'X' has also just put out another firme video with Immortal Technique's hip-hop homeboy Akir. It's another dope political hip-hop vid that deserves global attention so please go check it out, rate up and leave your comments. Underground artists need your support and the ones we take on our roster are chosen not only because of their lyrical and musical ability but because they are fighting against injustice with words instead of weapons. Lyrical Agent

Bio

Lyrical Agent loved Hip-Hop from a young age. When he used to walk to school he would always freestyle off the top of his head about anything that came to mind. Then when he turned 16 he met an emcee called Lewda who fuelled his interest further. They started hanging out and then they met a producer that said he was willing to record and produce for them. This was the catalyst which inspired Agent to write and record his first mixtape alongside Lewda.

The duo pushed the tape locally in and around their area but they soon grew apart. The decision was mutual and it resulted in Lyrical Agent launching his career as an independent artist. He took everything he had learnt whilst working with Lewda and started becoming critical of every day life and conscious of the world around him. He then dropped his first solo project Caught in the System which was an 8 track EP. The EP was a mixture of the previous sounds he was bringing with Lewda, alongside his own message which was a conscious observation of reality. Although Agent had attained a new level of writing and awareness he still felt that he was far from peaking as an artist.

It didn't take long for Caught in the System to gain local hype. Along with the previous fans from the Agent and Lewda days Agent had also reached out to people who wouldn't ordinarily have been interested in Hip-Hop. They could relate to the message he was bringing about everyday life and many thought it was refreshing to hear positive music as opposed to the usual exploitative corporate rap music that gets air time. This gave Agent the inspiration to deliver something even bigger however he ran into his own problems within the system. This unfortunately prevented him from dedicating the time he needed to his music.

After hearing Agent's EP Caught in the System a close friend introduced him to numerous books and videos on a darker side to society. Agent initially thought he had gained a clear insight into society when releasing Caught in the System, however after months of research it soon became apparent that he had only touched upon a very small part of what was to become his newest piece of music.

His new insight gave him an incredible amount of inspiration, and after a seven month break, maturing along the way, he suddenly had a spontaneous urge to put what he had learnt into a track. This track became the breathtaking Open Your Eyes. After three days of continuously writing the track was ready to be recorded and after capturing it in the studio he contacted a film crew to record a low budget video portraying the same vibe which the lyricism reflected.

Within the first month this one single track had gained more interest than anything he had ever released. It caught the attention of many other emcees, one of whom was named Plato, and although the two lived within five minutes of each other they strangely had never met before. Within the first month of getting to know each other and sharing knowledge it soon became obvious that they were of the same intellect and portrayed the same message in their music. They had a vision, the vision was to share their combined knowledge by utilizing a calibre of Hip-Hop which was elevated above current rap music whilst maintaining a mature and positive stance.

Less than a month of networking together resulted in a collaboration between Agent and Plato with America's Beast 1333, founder of the Templars of Hip-Hop who was taught by one of greatest Hip-Hop icons KRS One. This opportunity was exciting as Beast has released tracks with KRS One and had recently returned from touring America with artists such as Fat Joe, KRS and the legendary DJ Premier. The track entitled The Global Resistance has given Agent and Plato exposure from all corners of the globe, resulting in a solid fan base worldwide.

This caught the attention of The Anti-Injustice Movement, a group of revolutionists sharing the same vision as Lyrical Agent. Their members range from poets to emcees, graffiti artists to promoters and activists. They dropped a mixtape entitled Lyrical Warfare Vol. 1 in which 'Open your Eyes' and 'The Global Resistance' feat. Plato & Beast 1333 were included. Lyrical Warfare is now available on Amazon, Reverbnation and iTunes for digital download. Agent says: "We are a global movement that believe in freedom of speech, justice and liberty."

From here an album is the next step for Lyrical Agent and Plato. The album is set to feature collaborations with Beast 1333, Jonny Handsome, Jaz O, AG of DITC, two members of Wu-Tang, Block McCloud (Army of the Pharoahs), Plazma (Rhyme Asylum), Lil Dreads and potentially more. The album is set to be ready for release by the new year and will be available for download on all major digital download outlets including iTunes.

Bio

SAI (South American Immigrant) was born in Quito, Ecuador in 1973, lived in Brooklyn during his teenage years, and attended Randolph High School in Harlem. He obtained a B.A. in Creative Writing from SUNY Binghamton. He has worked as a community relations coordinator at Barnes & Noble. For the many years he has been involved in the struggle for justice for farm workers with Farmworker Legal Services of NY, specifically under the human trafficking project. He has been on the frontlines of saving modern day slaves from modern day slaveowners. Moreover he has highligted the way in which human trafficking is an issue of grave importance in a world where people think slavery no longer exists. He has done this as an activist, an emcee/musician and also as a poet because he is a man who knows how to utilize his many talents to benefit the greater good.

SAI has performed his latin style hip-hop at local venues since 2004 and he is the music and lyrical composer/producer of more than 200 hip hop/spoken word songs, featuring various artists in the Rochester community (Including Henry Padrón & Jahaka Mindstorm).

Renan is fluent in French, English, and Spanish and spits lyrical fire in all three languages. He has worked with a myriad of producers and emcees from every continent and appears as a featured emcee in many albums. He has performed in endless amounts of open mic's in NY, LA, DC, Ecuador, and Canada. He recently performed in the Art of Lyrics underground event at The Point in The Bronx, NY., an invitation-only gathering of emcees in New York City. He also belongs to the 4th Sight, as well as to La Gran Colombia which was formed by SAI to represent Ecuador, Dante Vital representing Colombia, and El Veneco (representing Venezuela). He will be working on a collaborative album with all of these collectives by next year and it will be entirely in Spanish. He is also a fully fledged member of The Anti-Injustice Movement (aka The AIM) and has recorded a brand new track entitled 'Taking AIM' for the collective's new mixtape Lyrical Warfare Vol 1.

He published a book of poems in 1996 entitled Until I Meet Myself Again, I Write and therefore he will be an asset to the rapidly expanding Anti-Injustice Movement not only as an emcee and activist but also as a protest poet. The rhyming revolitionary freedom fighter, aka Ecuador's answer to Che Guevara, SAI will be a core figure in the up and coming genre of 'raptivism.'

Stream Of Consciousness

Bio

Stream Of Consciousness was born in Beaufort, SC on January 15th, 1983 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's REAL birthday). He was born into a military family, with both his father and at one point his mother serving in the United States Marine Corps. Shortly after his birth his family moved to Kaneo Bay, Kilauea Hawaii on the island of Oahu where his father was stationed. Spending his first few years of life living just blocks from the ocean was a formative experience. This helped inspire a sense of wonder about the world within him, and even at a young age he often payed attention to the world around him more so than most of his peers. It's safe to say that having a military upbringing definitely shaped his perspective of this planet and the people in it. He was tuned in at a young age to world events.

His parents divorced when he was just 8 years old. He eventually ended up living with his father for the majority of his teenage years stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C. Living in such a militarized environment (of course it was no war zone) was in fact the catalyst that has driven him and his craft. Writing his first song when he was 15, even going so far as to write an entire albums worth of material which will never see the light of day. In 2003 he packed up his stuff from where he was living at in Wilmington, NC at the time and headed North to Wisconsin. It was a much needed change of scenery. From then on he only romanticized a bit about making music but never got any more serious about it then writing some lines here and there.

However, in early 2007 he recorded his first track after having performed at a few open mic events locally in Wisconsin to much acclaim from fellow emcees. Since then, he has been systematically smashing local shows with the help of DJ Solution. On top of killing shows, he is slowly but steadily building a fan base both online and locally all while working on his debut album called "The Pentagon Papers" which he hopes to have completed and ready for sale by the Summer of 2010. His music is politically conscious, his lyricism is exceptional and his flow is smooth but edgy. He hopes to be able to tour all across the globe and raise awareness about the oppressive forces at work within our society and corporate rap music.
