Since The I Want Justice Tour AIM/Guerrilla Republik raptivist Capital-'X' has been a busy man. First off he had the incredible opportunity of opening for the legendary Vinnie Paz and Jedi Mind Tricks with his Norwegian comrade Sheepy Wonder in Norway. Not only did 'X' and Sheepy baptize the audience into the revolution against the death penalty with their hard hitting track 'Eye 4 N Eye' but they joined Jedi Mind Tricks on stage for the encore. Damn people I'd gorge out my right eye ball to meet Paz and JMT because they are up there on my list of hip-hop hard-hitters. Thus I am mad psyched that one of our artists had the honor of performing with such hardcore hip-hop heroes of mine. More importantly we have to give the big ups to both 'X' and Sheepy for educating the audience about the travesty of justice that is the death penalty. This is a crystal clear example of the way in which AIM raptivists educate the people by using words instead of weapons.





The next bit of AIM Hip-Hop news is massive because it not only involves Capital-'X' but also super sick AIM emcee Perseverance. When we dropped The AIM Raptivist Collective Lyrical Warfare Volume 1 Mixtape we included an ill track by Perseverance and 'X' called 'Business'. The track and the album went down harder than World Trade Centre 7. Now AIM brothers Perseverance and 'X' have released the track as an official music video called 'Businessmen'. Not only is the video fanfuckingtastic but both emcees rep The AIM Clika hard in it which will help raise awareness about our movement and the various artists and causes that we are involved with.

The fucking cherry on the cake is that the video is in a competition on Yo!Raps Magazine and our underground political hardhitters are annihilating the competion who consist of mainstream corporate puppets like Kanye West, 50 Cent and Soulja Boy. Nevertheless we need your help to get them to seal the deal so if you believe in real underground hip-hop as opposed to mainstream corporate wank then please go here and give our boys five stars and leave a positive comment about the video. This will not only raise awareness about these two incredible artists but also about our movement and all the vital campaigns associated with it. It also flips the bird at mainstream white washed corporate candy rap. Let's take hip-hop out of the hands of the oppressors and utilize it as a tool to free the oppressed.



Capital-'X' has also just put out another firme video with Immortal Technique's hip-hop homeboy Akir. It's another dope political hip-hop vid that deserves global attention so please go check it out, rate up and leave your comments. Underground artists need your support and the ones we take on our roster are chosen not only because of their lyrical and musical ability but because they are fighting against injustice with words instead of weapons. The I Want Justice Tour

As most of you hiphoppas will know The Anti-Injustice Movement in connection with Guerrilla Republik UK, Real Hip-Hop Forever and Truth Music Directory staged our first ever international tour in the UK. AIM/GREP emcee Capital's X's I Want Justice Tour started in Norway, worked it's way through the US, and then hit the UK with another AIM headliner, Jehuniko. The UK leg of the tour also featured other AIM and GREP UK emcees; Brent Lee Regan, Lyrical Agent and Xidus Pain. We also had one of the UK's hottest beatboxers Bigg Taj do a guest spot at our Glasgow show. From Glasgow to Edinburgh to London our emcees brought revolutionary fire and ice to an audience which never ceased to be blown away by REAL underground political hip-hop. After three explosive shows, AIM/GREP UK family bonding and a lot of hard work on the part of everyone who worked their asses off for free our two West Coast and East Coast US sharp spitters flew out to Copenhagen, Sweden to finish the tour with another dope emcee called Triz The One. There ain't no doubt that the I Want Justice Tour was a massive success for The AIM, Guerrilla Republik, our artists and the global underground political hip-hop movement.

Anyway I have a lot of other hip-hop news I want to drop on y'all this week so I'll be gracing your monitors on this blog with AIM and Guerrilla Republik UK news for the rest of the week. Hip Hop, Social Justice and Norway

Hip-Hop Educator & Activist Solomon Commisiong, a close friend of our own Capital-'X' and a contributor of on point articles to The AIM, has released a new documentary called Hip Hop, Social Justice and Norway about his recent visit to Norway to participate in the Kristiansand ProtestFestival with his comrades Capital-'X' and Bashir Malouf. The documentary includes footage from Capital-'X's I Want Justice Tour in Norway, which will be coming to the UK from October 3rd to October 6th, and also features US Latino emcee Jehuniko and a host of sick political hip-hop artists from AIM UK. This documentary not only illustrates the mind blowing revolutionary charisma of AIM General Capital-'X' but also highlights the way in which Hip-Hop can be used as a powerful weapon in the fight for social justice.

I Want Justice UK Tour

The Anti-Injustice Movement, aka The AIM, Guerrilla Republik UK, Outstanding Media and RHHF presents Capital-'X' and Jehuniko's I Want Justice Tour in the UK with emcee Brent Lee Regan from the UK, the legendary DJ Flako from Guatemala, and guest artists in London Lyrical Agent and Tekneek. This is the rawest, most brutally honest revolutionary Hip-Hop to explode onto the UK underground. If you want candy rap or weak and wavering conscious Hip-Hop then this is not for you because this collective of international underground raptivists are nothing short of revolutionaries. If you're down with intelligent lyricism, raw truth and hard-hitting beats then this is a show you can't afford to miss. People are sleeping and this performance is going to make them wake up and smell the thermite.

Capital-'X'

Capital-"X" was born in Brooklyn, New York. His parents migrated to New York from Puerto Rico during the "Great Migration" in the 1950's after Puerto Rico's official status was changed to "Commonwealth". It was a time when discrimination was rampant in the United States and it was no different in New York. As stated by Lolita Lebrón, there were signs in restaurants which read "No dogs or Puerto Ricans allowed". Struggling to find his place throughout his life "X" spent nearly half of his life trapped within the web of the criminal justice system, a fate that is all to common for young Blacks and Latinos in America. No stranger to struggle it was no surprise that "X" took after his uncles who were imprisoned for their political practices within the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party fighting for Puerto Rico's Independence. While serving time in Leesburg State Prison in New Jersey Capital-"X" transformed himself into a prisoners rights activist. Inspired by his uncles and the likes of Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos, George L Jackson, Malcolm X and countless others "X" educated himself to stand up against the very system he felt set out to destroy him and countless others.

A very strong opponent of capitol punishment Capital-"X" now spends most of his time traveling across the US as well as over seas speaking and performing to educate and enlighten the masses on what he considers to be the truth about a corrupt and unjust legal system that he compares to the slave trade of the past. Intertwining facts gathered by years of extensive study in criminology, penology, law, personal experience and the experiences of fellow captives with hip hop music "X" intoxicates audiences with what he calls Raptivism. Calling himself the Voice of the Voiceless a title borrowed from "perhaps the best known Death-Row prisoner in the world", political rights activist/award winning journalist Mumia Abu Jamal, Capital-"X" claims to be the spokesman for over 2.5 million captives held in US prisons. He is a core member of The Anti-Injustice Movement and a member of Guerrilla Republik.

Jehuniko

Jehuniko is an original, bluesy hip hop artist with lyrics in English and Spanish.

He shares words involving his personal experiences and struggles in life.

He is currently based in Houston, Texas.

Jehuniko has also performed alongside Kemo the Blaxican and opened up for Mack 10, HR of Bad Brains, Lupe Fiasco,De La Sol, KRS One, Raekwon, the Coup and many others.

He is a part of a hip hop trio called Almas Intocables along with Ikustion (LA) and Kiawitl (Houston) that rocks rhymes in English/Spanish.

He is a member of The Anti-Injustice Movement.

Brent Lee Regan

Brent Lee Regan is an Alternative Hip Hop artist from the UK whose lyrical delivery and content is as varied as his musical style. His lyricism is deeply profound and explores issues of personal, political, philosophical and theological importance. He maturely addresses the power struggles and paradigm shifts in the shady world of global elite politics and religion but his message is one of hope because he is committed to change through praxis. Regan is not content to merely dance among the ruins like those in many factions of Hip Hop but rather is dedicated to standing to fight peacefully for justice through his music and front line activism. He has embraced the Christian message of hope and although he is wholly dedicated to his path of Christian Mysticism he is able to separate religion from politics because he understands the corrupt nature of those who seek power at the expense of others. Regan's spiritual message is one of love, acceptance and inclusion and thus it stands in stark opposition to the exploitative motifs propounded by both mainstream corporate rap music and many factions of underground Hip Hop. Regan has an uncompromising commitment to equality, freedom and truth and his authenticity as an individual permeates his hypnotizing Hip Hop. His voice is gentle but captivating, his flow is smooth and precise, and his beats and music are always mesmerizing in a way that is almost spiritual. Brent Lee Regan is the much needed future of Hip Hop.

As well as writing and producing all of his own material, Brent Lee Regan has also worked with many other producers, vocalists and bands both local and international and his music production and technique has earned him major industry clients such as Virgin1, Codemasters and Momentum Worldwide. After being front man and vocalist for twelve years in Ska-Rap-Metal band - The Prhyme, he recently split from the group and released his solo album entitled Apis Mellifera which was put out on his own label False Flag in August 2009. After only one year, 13,000 copies of Apis Mellifera were downloaded. The album has been a massive success and has already gained Regan an extensive following from all corners of the globe, both within Hip Hop and outside of it. His music and lyricism crosses many divides and his style manages to be true to the universal nature of Hip Hop but resonates with those who are attracted to other genres.

A fervent truth speaker both on and off the record, Brent Lee Regan is also a member of various groups including The Anti-Injustice Movement (The AIM), a global activist movement which utilizes Hip Hop to enable social change, Guerrilla Republik, Emcee's For Peace and Musicians For Peace. He also runs a website called Truth Music Directory which promotes independent and unsigned artists from the truth movement worldwide. Demand for Brent Lee Regan's live show is growing and there are both national and international shows planned for him in the coming months as the time has come for the world to be blessed with his music. With his determination and sincerity, Brent Lee Regan is going to be a powerful voice for global change.

DJ Flako is a top DJ from Latin America and he has travelled all the way from Guatemala to introduce the UK to the illest Latin American beats.

We are also hoping to have UK emcees Lyrical Agent and Tekneek spitting a few bars at the London show too.


The AIM are looking for anyone who is involved in Hip-Hop to come down to our London I Want Justice show on October 6th at The Bull and Gate to spit some freestyles and do interviews for a UK Hip-Hop documentary that is being filmed for Unite the Kingdom. Unite The Kingdom DVD is a music movement DVD dedicated to positive and moral change and new ideas. It'll be a great project which will be involved in our first international show and it will also help get UK conscious artists free promo. Not only those involved in the actual show but any UK artists who want to come see an explosive Hip-Hop show and get involved in the documentary. Moreover you may get recruited to be a member of The AIM and/or GREP UK depending on your skills and outlook. Both organizations deliver masses of opportunities for positive artists.

Capital-"X" On The MOVE 9

This past Saturday, August 7, 2010 I embarked on a mission with a few comrades of mine. We drove 10 hours from Raleigh, North Carolina up to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to support fellow revolutionaries and activists that were meeting on behalf of the MOVE 9. MOVE or the MOVE Organization is a Philadelphia-based black liberation group founded by charismatic leader John Africa. I have vowed to fight for prisoners rights and against all injustices and the case of the MOVE 9 is clearly an injustice. This injustice really struck a chord with me because I clearly remember watching the injustices on the MOVE Organization when I was coming up. When I was 14 years old I remember seeing the news talking about the shoot out that took place in Powelton Village where the MOVE were located at the time in Philadelphia. Philadelphia police officer James J. Ramp was killed in this shootout. Seven other police officers, five were found guilty of third-degree murder in the shooting death of a police officer. Seven of the nine became eligible for parole in the spring of 2008, and all seven were denied parole which is what this rally was all about. These members of MOVE have been in prison for over 30 years now continuously professing their innocence. Keep in mind that in most all European countries the maximum prison sentence handed down for first degree murder is 21 years. This to me is a clear indication of an injustice taking place right before our very eyes. Parole hearings for MOVE members now occur yearly so yes, I stepped up to speak out for the release of the MOVE 9. They are political prisoners being held for their beliefs alone.

Many traveled to Philadelphia in behalf of the MOVE 9 and many spoke out, calling for Justice. It is easy to sit on ones home computer and partake in the struggle. I am not criticizing here because the Internet is an essential tool in the fight for true justice. But, in order to really make a difference though people do need to make some sacrifices if WE the people are ever going to see some real change take place here in AmeriKKKa and world wide. If three of us can come out of pocket and drive over twenty hours in a car with no air condition there just is not any excuse for anyone within a 100 mile radius for not attending a rally, conference, festival or concert that is put together by the people for the people. I do wish to thank the small hand full of people that do support me by buying Cd's and tee-shirts which fund my tour calling for true justice and the fight for the ending of the death penalty world wide.






Ramona Africa the lone survivor of the MOVE bombing in 1985 who headed up the rally MOVED all in attendance with her speeches which were very heart felt by all those that were their to support her and the MOVE 9. Many passerby were also touched by Ramona and all the other speakers. People stopped to listen and to read the information handed out by all the protesters. Hearing Ramona speak was indeed powerful. One could not ignore the truth that she spoke. Her words were undeniable and one could not help but to see the reality of the injustices inflicted on the MOVE organization. Scars covered Ramona's arms and legs from the bombing she survived by Philadelphia Police, an act that was condemned by many, an act that resulted in the deaths of 11 men, women and children. Ramona Africa, after all she has withstood still till this very day remains on the front lines of the struggle. She is an inspiration and a true revolutionary that we all should support.






One is never to young to be a revolutionary. Many of the MOVE children stood up and spoke out demanding for justice and calling for the release of their comrades and loved ones. Let them be our inspiration and let us support them for they are our future.






The struggle continues as it has for centuries. In the past oppression was much more obvious. Today people believe they are free unable to see the works of our government. People still DEPEND on politicians. How can we say we are free when most are dependent on the government for everything? Having a house, a car and a good job does not equal freedom, it amounts to economical enslavement. Freedom is owning your own land without having to pay the government outrages taxes on your land. Freedom is being able to work your land, growing and raising your own food and being able to enjoy nature. Freedom is being able to roam the earth freely as the animals do. Instead most with the free will that we were born with choose economical enslavement without any resistance. People trade their freedom for video games, reality TV, mainstream media, cars, jewelry and fancy clothes. None of these amount to freedom. The MOVE 9 and countless other political prisoners sit dying in five by nine prison cells because they refused to conform. They refused what the government had to offer because they seen passed the lies and the deceit. Not only did they refuse to make a deal with the devil, they spoke out against it. Open your eyes and see the truth. You may feel comfortable right this moment sitting on your computer reading this blog, but what would happen next month if you lost your job? When one losses their job, that's when you see what is free in this country they call the land of the free. The only thing that is free in AmeriKKKa, is the fact that you are free to die in the street if you do not produce labor for the rich. One in every one hundred AmeriKKKans are now in prison. DO NOT, DO NOT fool yourself into thinking it will never happen to you. Because it can.

3 Protests in 3 Cities

Glasgow, Toronto and Philadelphia.... were you there?

Glasgow, Scotland

On Thursday August 5th Lilith and myself took ourselves, our placards, our petitions, our letters and our voices to the main shopping street in the centre of Glasgow and set ourselves up. We were also joined to the lovely Jenny who supports the campaigns as well. The call to protest had been issued by Mission Free Iran (MFI) in response to the news that Iran planned to resume mass executions of it's political prisoners. While we were there we also continued to spread the word about the case of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani and of the accession of Iran to The UN Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW). Many more letters and petitions have been signed and sent and a whole pile of AIM business cards as well. The following day we even had an email from someone we had spoken to who is interested in supporting The AIM with it's work, and  we are hooking up with the The Glasgow Love Police as a result of posts we have already made about this protest. Toronto, Canada

The call to protest was initially for that day only but was later extended and in the end at least 22 cities took part in the action. AIM member Coffy was part of the group that protested in Toronto, Canada on Saturday August 7th and you can read the event report from MFI here for that city. Coffy was able to get in touch with the organiser of the Toronto event and apparently had a very interesting very long conversation with him. He is pretty impressed with The AIM and what we do so we hope to be able to build and work with him closely in the future.

Philadelphia, USA

AIM members Capital-"X" and Perseverance and AIM supporter Jessica took a road trip from North Carolina to Pennsylvania where they were met and very kindly fed and watered by newest AIM member MC Therapist. They then all went on to attend the MOVE 9 Rally along with many others including members of our affiliate group Guerilla Republik. Capital-"X" will be posting a blog on this shortly but in the meantime please watch (and copy) this offering from them all.

Tomorrow AIM General Capital-'X' will take the I Want Justice Tour to The Move 9 Rally in Philadelphia. He will be joined by AIM emcees Perseverance and MC Therapist. Many of our Guerrilla Republik comrades will also be there. 'X' invites you all to join him, his AIM and GREP comrades, and many other conscious individuals to stand up for the Move 9.

Dropping a bomb, killing innocent children and then imprisoning innocent men and women was a tactic by these fascists to instill fear in WE the people. We must prove that their tactic failed for it is not WE the people that should tremble in fear, it is those that believe they our superior to WE that people that should tremble in fear. Sup underground hiphoppas. AK47 here, aka the Scottish Loca, bringing you up to date with what's going down in the subterreanean world of political Hip-Hop and Street Poetry. I'll regularly update y'all with regards to our own emcees and spoken word artists, aka The Aim Raptivist Collective, both individually and as a collective. I'll also keep you in the loop with anything pertaining to the growing international revolutionary Hip-Hop movement as a whole. However I am involved in running The AIM with the committee on a daily basis, not to mention organizing shows, steering The AIM Hip-Hop/Street Poetry Street Team and promoting all our individual artists. To kick off today's update I want to welcome two new members to The AIM, hard spitting MC Therapist who's going to front for The AIM in Philly and renowned Street Poet, Musician and Gang Outreach Worker Warrior Bonds from Boston. We met Therapist through two of our core members AIM General Raptivist Capital-'X' and anti-NWO emcee Enki, and we were introduced to Warrior through notorious Street Poet and AIM Shot Caller Monte Smith. I can't emphasize enough how proud we feel to have both of these individuals clicked up with us because there is no doubt that they are realer than a brick in the face, more focused than a a top of the range Nikon camera and smarter than your average quantum physicist on a good day. They definitely got AIM to the core. We'll be pushing them forward so that all the world can hear what they have to say because they are voices of the imminent ethical revolution. I'll be putting up their pages on the site as soon as humanly possible but until then please check them out on Reverbnation and join The AIM Hip-Hop/Street Poetry Street Team on The AIM Raptivist Collective page on Reverbnation to help promote these hard men with hearts.
